Overview of Guangdong Harvar Institute

The Guangdong Harvar Institute currently has 18 different types of laboratories, 6 are fine chemicals laboratories, and 12 are electronic chemicals laboratories. Each laboratory employs a famous professor at home and abroad. Experts serve as mentors for project coaching and development.

 

Name: Yong Chen
Position: Dean, Chairman, China Harvar Group
Direction: Overseeing Guangdong Harvard Research Institute
Qualifications: In 1990, he graduated from the Department of Chemistry, Fudan University, majoring in analytical chemistry. He has been engaged in research and development of metal surface treatment technology in Guangdong for more than 30 years. He has rich theoretical and practical experience, and has a number of invention patents and scientific and technological rewards.




Name: Chen Gan
Title: Executive Vice-President
Direction: Research and development of metal surface treatment series products
Qualifications: Have been engaged in the research and development of metal surface treatment series products in the R&D department of Harvar Technology Group and Guangdong Harvar Research Institute for more than 20 years, with rich practical experience.



Name: Lishan Zhao
Position: Tutor of the 18th Laboratory, Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in the United States
Direction: Research on Chemical Synthesis Process of Electroplating Additives and Drug Intermediates
Qualifications: Have been engaged in research on the synthesis process of electroplating additives and drug intermediates in Silicon Valley, USA for over 20 years, and have rich achievements in intermediate biosynthesis research.An internationally renowned expert in microbial fermentation and biosynthesis



Name: Penglie Zhang
Title: Tutor of the 17th Laboratory, Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in the United States
Direction: Research on Chemical Synthesis Process of Electroplating Additives and Drug Intermediates
Qualifications: Have been engaged in the chemical synthesis process research of electroplating additives and drug intermediates for over 20 years in Silicon Valley, USA, and have published nearly 100 scientific research papers in international key journals. Have rich experience in intermediate synthesis and research and development.




Name: Lin Jianhui
Position: Tutor of the 16th Laboratory
Direction: Printed circuit board manufacturing, electroplating, and chemical plating
Qualifications: The main research directions are printed circuit board manufacturing, electroplating, and chemical plating. The current research and development projects include the research and development of PCB metal surface treatment agent series formulas, and the research and development of surface hydrophilicity treatment for 304 stainless steel. Hosted one project of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, participated in writing one monograph, published multiple SCI papers, and granted four invention patents.



Name: Fang Jingli
Position: 15th laboratory supervisor
Direction: Research on Electroplating Additives and Complexes
Qualifications: I have been engaged in research on electroplating additives and complexes in the Department of Chemistry at Nanjing University for over 30 years. Later, I developed product technologies in various international large-scale electroplating chemical enterprises and obtained multiple international invention patents. I have also published many academic monographs. Among them, "Micro alkaline chemical silver plating process technology" is a patented technology created by the world.



Name: Sun Tingyi
Position: Tutor of the 14th Laboratory
Direction: Teaching and research in electrochemistry
Qualifications: I graduated from the Department of Chemistry at Wuhan University in my early years and have been engaged in teaching and research in the field of electrochemistry for over 20 years. Currently, I am the Dean of the School of Materials and Food at Sun Yat sen University of Electronic Science and Technology.



Name: Daojun Luo
Position: Consultant of the 13th Laboratory
Direction: Reliability research on SMT assembly and other aspects
Qualifications: Senior Researcher (Professor level), currently the Director of China Saibao Laboratory. For over 20 years, I have been engaged in reliability research in electronic component assembly and circuit board SMT assembly, and have rich theoretical and practical experience in product formulation technology for flux series electronic chemicals and solder series materials used in SMT assembly.



Name: Zhang Jun
Position: Twelfth Laboratory Mentor
Direction: Research and development of PCB electronic chemicals
Qualifications: Graduated from Shanghai University with a Master's degree in Organic Synthesis. Engaged in long-term research and development of PCB electronic chemicals. Joined Guangdong Hafu Research Institute in 2020, mainly responsible for the research and development of OSP, medium coarse, ultra coarse, alkali copper, micro etching, zongzi and other series of products, as well as managing intellectual property rights such as high-tech and invention patents.

Position: Tutor of the 11th Laboratory
Direction: Technical services and research and development in the PCB liquid medicine industry
Qualifications:Graduated from the School of Materials Science, Southwest University of Science and Technology in 2000 with a major in Industrial Analysis. I have 23 years of experience in technical services and research and development in the PCB pharmaceutical industry since 2000. Published 10 papers in industry journals. In 2021, I joined Hafu Research Institute to engage in the research and development of copper plating tin agents. Having a profound understanding and unique insights into the formulation of various photosensitizers and the performance of their components.



Name: Liu Yi
Position: Tenth Laboratory Consultant
Direction: Research and development of chemical copper and chemical nickel gold series products
Qualifications: Graduated from Wuhan University of Chemical Technology, entered the PCB electronic chemical industry in 2001, and has rich experience in the research and development of chemical copper and chemical nickel gold series products. Applied for 6 invention patents, such as "Method for Making Nanoscale Colloidal Palladium" and "Horizontal Chemical Nickel Gold Equipment and Medicines". Joined Guangdong Harvar Institute in 2020, with a research and development focus on the development and upgrading of chemical copper precipitation products; Among them, formaldehyde free chemical copper and environmentally friendly chemical copper (cyanide free and nickel free) have developed mature products.

Direction: Technical services and research and development of PCB electronic chemicals
Qualifications: I have been working in the PCB industry for 27 years, and started working in technical services and research and development of PCB electronic chemicals in 2001. 23 years of research and development experience; Proficient in the research and development of additives for copper sinking potions, especially proficient in horizontal copper sinking series potions. Successfully developed and promoted unique domestic advanced colloidal palladium horizontal copper sinking series, ion palladium low palladium horizontal copper sinking series, and cyanide free and nickel free horizontal copper sinking series, all of which have achieved good market benefits and environmental and social benefits.
